Volleyfest 2014

From Cascades Media. It’s an opportunity for high school stars, weekend warriors, former pros, and court aces alike! It’s a chance to wow the crowd or simply to play with friends. It’s Volleyfest 2014 and it’s happening soon!

Brought to you by UFV Athletics, Volleyfest is an opportunity for volleyball players of many different ages and skill levels to come out and compete recreationally or competitively in the Abby sun. The tournament will run 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday, August 30 at Exhibition Park in Abbotsford (32470 Haida Drive). Competition will be divided into three coed youth divisions (13/14U, 15/16U, and 17/18U) as well as two coed adult divisions (Recreational and Competitive). Games will be played on grass courts between teams of six players a side.

The cost per six-player team is $125 before August 1, and $150 thereafter until registration closes onAugust 27. Register online at www.ufvcascades.ca

UFV Athletics is proud to announce event partnerships with the Abbotsford Food Bank and Volleyball BC, and will be donating half of all registration fee revenue to the Food Bank’s All Kids Play Sports fund. The All Kids Play Sports program helps organize and subsidize sports camps for local children.

Recreation Division – For teams that are here to enjoy the weather and the people!  You don’t need much volleyball experience to play in the recreational division, but you do need to know how to have a good time.

Competitive Division – For volleyball teams with experience who wish to compete for the championship! If you are here to win, this division is for you!

COST:  $125/team until August 1st. $150 for later registration

Half of the revenue from entry fees will be donated to the Abbotsford Food Bank’s All Kids Play Sports fund!
