The City of Abbotsford told the BC Supreme Court there were plenty of places for the homeless men and women of the Jubilee Park protest to stay.

It was a central part of the reason for the judge’s decision that people’s right to use the park was more important than the right’s of the homeless in the park.

If the high barrier shelters like the Salvation Army, which gave prior approval to the grotesque use of chicken feces against the very people in Jubilee Park who have argued they are unwelcome at Abbotsford shelters, have not provided enough shelter, despite being instructed to do so by the City, Walter Neufeld raises a valid question:

Was court misled?
