The North Pole is coming!
Take a sneak preview at North Pole BC as the Elves prepare to open on November 28th. And you can get your FREE Christmas picture with Santa.
Your children can also get to play in Santa’s Workshop.

Santa’s Elves are waiting to help kids 8 and over to create their very own FREE ‘make and take’ model Blue Angel airplane, or decorate your very own fresh baked Christmas cookie OR create your own make and take Sandart.
All FREE at Santa’s Workshop.

You too can help a child have a happier Christmas by dropping off a donation of an unwrapped toy at Toy Mountain.
The good people at The Salvation Army will then deliver these toys to less fortunate children in our community in time for Christmas morning.

Once again the show will be featuring the Festival of Trees – a collection of beautifully decorated trees that local charitable organizations have decorated to compete for a grand prize. Visitors may also win a prize by voting for favourite tree.

The Home for the Holidays Stage
features several amazing presenters.
Gwendolyn Richards, Carmen Ruiz y Laza, Kelly Beswitherick, Brian Misko, and Mr. Mom Russell Pohl.

Gwendolyn Richards
She is a food writer, photographer and the blogger behind Patent and the Pantry and author of Pucker – A Cookbook for Citrus Lovers. Gwendolyn will be on stage, baking recipes from her recent book, Pucker. She will also be available for meet and greet and book signing opportunities after her presentations.

Carmen Ruiz y Laza is Joy TV’s newest host and headlines Carmen TV .
Carmen will be on the Home for the Holidays Stage together with our stage manager Cathy Galbraith to offer her ideas on decorating your home for the Holiday Season. Carmen draws on her vast television and broadcasting background as well as from her own family traditions to demonstrate simple techniques to decorate your home that will make you the envy of your friends and family.

Kelly Beswitherick, also known as Kitchen Caleigh, has learned to use food to heal her body.
There’s a party in Caleigh’s kitchen and you’re invited! Living with food sensitivities (dairy, gluten, soy, sugar, grains) landed me on a specialized diet. So I began my journey to create and share amazing recipes. Life is better with good food!
Kitchen Caleigh recently released recipe book, How Food Changed my Life features 16 fun and unique recipes.

Brian Misko shares how to cook with great fresh local Pork
Starting with bbq competitions in 2006 in Vancouver and Whistler, Brian Misko has lead his team to the Jack Daniels World BBQ Championships in 2009 and again this past October. House of Q completed this 2014 bbq season as the #1 Team in Canada. Brian was a guest chef at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics with Vikram Vij, Pino Postero, John Bishop and Tojo at his side. His collection of trophies, plaques, ribbons and awards shows his determination to be the best.
