Outstanding Artist in the Visual Arts – Video/Film Arty Award Nominee Win Wachsmann and his wife created a TV pilot for the History Channel entitled Military Miracles, which chronicles the experiences of a US Marine battalion as they fought their way from Kuwait to Baghdad during the second Iraq war.

The film was well received at the G.I. Film Festival and the YouTube trailer has received thousands of views.

Win has been actively involved in producing film and video as well as publishing books through his production company HeartBeat Productions. His videos have produced hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.

Win Wachsmann has been helping businesses improve their marketing and helping them get ready to sell their business. He doubles as an author, journalist, syndicated columnist, filmmaker, publisher and businessman who makes his home in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.

His articles and columns can be found lining the bottom of bird cages in some of the finest homes in the Fraser Valley. They are sometimes found in some of the finest offline and online magazines, journals and media properties.

Win also writes and takes photos for Abbotsford Today.

Kariton Art Gallery BoutiqueEstablished in 1972, the Abbotsford Arts Council acts as a voice and resource for local artists while promoting the vision, creativity, and energy of the community through the Arts.

We are proud to provide the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique as a resource for local artists to showcase their art.

In addition to the Kariton Gallery, the Abbotsford Arts Council produces a number of successful events to showcase local artists such as the Envision Coffee House Concert Series & Concert in the Park Series, Arty Awards, Arts & Heritage Unity Festival, and the Abbotsford Christmas Craft Fair. We also offer a wonderful education speaker series called “Art of Marketing”.
