From CBC. This past weekend saw the Bearcat volleyball teams home at Columbia Place against the Douglas College Royals. While the men’s team dropped both matches to the Royals, the women completed a weekend sweep.
After an exceptional week of practice the ladies came out strong, defeating the Douglas College Royals 3-1 Friday and then repeating the feat by the same 3-1 score Saturday. The ladies are now 10-6 in PacWest play and have an overall record of 15-7 this season, while the men drop to 2-14.
This weekend the teams travel to Nanaimo to take on the VIU Mariners who are ranked 2nd on the women’s side and 3rd on the men’s.
