The team out worked and outscored MEI throughout the game. Strong rebounding and scoring from Mike Vanderwerff (36 pts/17rebs) and Tamika Otanga (13 pts/9 rebs) kept MEI at bay. Matt Fraser, Leon Tran and Matt Kerc-Murchison contibuted to the team’s outstanding performance with great full court defense, forcing frequent MEI turnovers.
They are on a 5-game winning streak after going undefeated at the Abby Panther Tip-off tournament over the past weekend.
