Yale Students Host The Rescue Run

From Soraya Rajabally. On Saturday, June 7th, students at Yale Secondary School hosted the Rescue Run to support “Destiny Rescue”, an international organization that actively rescues children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The run/walk was 5km around Mill Lake and with just over 50 participants, several volunteers and tremendous help from the Running Room, just over $900 was raised.

As one of many leadership events, this one was especially important to Rachel Lee (in grade 12) who has been actively fundraising for the cause all year.
