From Yale Secondary. Congratulations to Eknoor Bajwa and Sahil Bajwa for both winning gold this past weekend at the BC Age Class tournament in Richmond. Well Done Boys!!
Athletics At Yale
Yale has a long history of athletic success. Over the past four decades Yale has produced many athletes who have gone on to national and international success. Some of our highlights include:
-Our boys rugby program has finished in the top 8 in the province four of the past five years with a bronze medal finish in 2013.
-Our Sr. Girls rugby team finished 3rd in the province in 2014.
-Our boys basketball program is one of the best in the province winning two provincial AAA championships in the past decade.
-Our wrestling team has along history of provincial champions.
-A former member of the Yale golf team now has his PGA tour card.
-Our swimming team has over 30 athletes competing on a yearly basis.-Our track and field program continues to grow and just recently won a gold medal in the men’s 100m.
-Many Yale volleyball players have gone on to play University ball.
