The Abbotsford Downtown Business Association and its membership have poured its heart and soul into the revitalization and rejuvenation of your Historic Downtown. Special attention has been given to heritage buildings in the area in order to restore in a way that complements and enhances the building’s historic value and maintains the heritage character of the area. New developments are encouraged to be designed in a manner that they blend harmoniously with the historic elements of the streetscape. The goal of the ADBA has been to create an environment in which fosters economic prosperity and a sense of community, a place Abbotsfordians can be proud of.
What have we accomplished so far? We now have a beautiful downtown that is a source of community pride and a desired destination for residents and visitors alike, attracting patrons from throughout the Fraser Valley. Historic Downtown Abbotsford is a pedestrian-friendly people place; a thriving neighbourhood alive with unique shops ranging from vintage outlets, sporting goods, clothing stores, crafts of all kinds, salons, spas, gyms and food!
