From Abbotsford BMX. Well the Sun Gods came out today, and the racing went off without a hitch. We had some new riders come out today for their very first race. Paul and Jack Knight (father and son), Jacob Martens, Kade Hoogstraten, and Tamara Hall.
Congratulations to those riders! Lots of excitement on the track. Karsen Tielen was making a move in the second straight when she went down, hopefully a icepack and a little rest and she will be good as new.
New rider Kade Hoogstraten pulled away from the other riders in the 8 Novice class and won all three motos. Great Job to all of the Riders.
Thanks to all our volunteers that helped out today, without you we would not be able to run the races.
Just a reminder that tomorrow night is gate practice and our Club Coach Darien Landers will be there and ready to help any new rider work on their BMX Skills.
Come and sign up at Motoshed. Coaching will take place from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
