Submitted. At 7:00am on March 7, Abbotsford Fire Rescue crews responded to a report of a house fire at 31809 Beech Street.
Upon arrival, crews discovered the fire was in the basement of the property. AFRS completed a search for residents inside the home, and found that it was unoccupied.
The cause of the fire does not appear to be suspicious, but fire investigators are yet to determine the exact cause. The cost of the smoke and fire damage is unknown at this time.
