By March 31, 2015Explore Abbotsford

No visit to Abbotsford, or the Fraser Valley for that matter, is complete without taking advantage of one of the areas prime tourist attractions and sources of economic activity – The Circle Farm Tour.

After the lumber industry opened the area up economically there soon followed a wave of agricultural immigrants and, after the draining of Sumas Lake, one of the world’s most fertile valleys was opened up for agricultural production.

Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the of the Valley’s primary source of income – the local farm.

A Circle Farm Tour is basically a road map that directs you to a variety of specialty farm-gate vendors, open air markets, charming eateries, heritage sites, fairs, and other special events. There’s a brochure and map for each participating community.
