From City of Abbotsford. City Council approved a business licence fee increase. This increase is effective May 1, 2014. The majority of business will see an 8.24 % increase. Some business types will increase over 8.24 %, including Bingo Hall and Community Gaming Centres, Junk Dealer/Junk Peddler/Scrap Metal Dealers, Pawn Shops and Liquor Primary establishments that do not currently operate Bar Watch standards.
