From the Trans Canada Highway No. 1 (East or west), take Exit 83 Mt. Lehman Road south
and follow the Airport and TRADEX signs to the Abbotsford International Airport property.

Abbotsford Taxi

Abbotsford currently has two local Taxi companies. For a trip to TRADEX from anywhere in Abbotsford
expect to pay anywhere from $15-$20 or more depending on how far you plan to travel.
(This estimate is based on if you pick up the taxi near an Abbotsford central location,

BY PUBLIC TRANSIT OUTSIDE ABBOTSFORD

Vancouver Transit (Translink)
Abbotsford’s local public transit system, ValleyMAX, connects to Vancouver’s Transit,
via the Aldergrove Connector bus.Translink’s “Expo Line”
Skytrain connects with the “502 Aldergrove” bus at the Surrey Central Skytrain Station.
The “502 Aldregrove” bus will take you as far as about 276th which is close to the Aldergrove/Abbotsford border.
It is only about 10km from 276th street and the Fraser Hwy to TRADEX. You could take a Taxi from here to TRADEX
or there is a ValleyMAX bus, the Aldergrove Connector, that picks up passengers
at 272nd street and the Fraser hwy a few times a day.

Greyhound Canada is the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in Canada,
and for around $20 you can purchase a round trip to the Abbotsford Greyhound Station from Vancouver
for one adult. You may also choose to depart from another city in the Greater Vancouver Regional District.
Ticket prices vary depending on length of travel. Once you arrive in Abbotsford the most direct route to TRADEX
would be by the Abbotsford Taxi service. To travel from the Abbotsford Greyhound station to TRADEX by taxi

Antiques Identification Clinic

The antique identification clinic will run throughout the shows hours. A fascinating aspect of keeping family heirlooms is the fact that they may have monetary value far beyond what their owners can imagine. Find out more about your own heirlooms at The Antique Expo at Tradex. The Identification clinic will feature Peter Blundell, CPA, a fully accredited member of the Canadian Association of Personal Property Appraisers, author and lecturer on antiques. Peter’s career in antiques has taken him throughout Europe, the USA and across Canada since 1969. Now living in Vernon, he travels across the west, doing appraisal work.

How it works

Bring your items for appraisal. You may bring as many items as you wish. When you arrive, go directly to the appraisal tables and get yourself a number. From this number you will be able to approximate your appointment time, then go and have fun searching the rest of the show and enjoy the many wonderful things on offer. If you miss your turn you will be inserted and accommodated at the next number in line. The Clinic operates during all show hours. At your appointed time, meet with the expert and show him your treasures.

Fees: $12 per item.
