Submitted. On Tuesday, November 12 at 5:00 pm a 13 year old boy was walking home through Mill Lake Park. He entered the park from Ware Street and was proceeding South around the perimeter of the lake. He believes he was attacked by a person, possibly armed with a weapon, because he briefly lost consciousness and awoke on the ground with an unknown witness offering assistance. This witness is described as a Caucasian man with a slim build, a slight goatee and wearing a grey hoodie, jogging pants and runners.
The boy eventually made his way home and the incident was reported to police the following day. The victim suffered a contusion to his head. Abbotsford Police Department investigators would like to speak to the Good Samaritan witness as well as any other person who may have seen what occurred in the park that evening.
Anyone with information about this incident should call the APD at 604-859-5225 or text 222973 (abbypd).
