Popular radio host Bill Good invited Mayor Bruce Banman to be on his show on CKNW this morning to discuss the demand by Abbotsford’s Drug War Survivors for a temporary ‘Dignity Village’ as a step towards a solution to the homeless crisis in Abbotsford but had his request denied.
The segment, which is slotted to run from 9:30 – 10:00 is called, “ABBOTSFORD HOMELESS DEMAND ‘DIGNITY VILLAGE’” and features both Barry Shantz and Doug Smith from the Drug War Survivors.
The online listing for the show states: “Banman’s office/City of Abbottsford denied our request for interviews.

Note: Refusing to answer questions is becoming a hallmark of Mayor Banman’s term in office. At the publis meeting about the Abbotsford Community Services Supportive Housing Proposal two weeks ago the Mayor refused to answer several direct questions from the public.

Bill Good clearly underestimated the value of purchasing a karaoke machine.

I admit to being confused about who you’re calling a tool. I’m assuming the Banman? If so I happily agree.
it’s too bad Banman declined the invitation because his appearance on Bill Good’s show would help Abbotsford qualify for federal disaster funding
Good one !!!!
Jim Evans Says:
mittmartin, I was referring to Bill Good. I suppose it could apply to both though.
