Bill Good Confirmed as Keynote Speaker and Emcee for Fraser Valley Economic Summit
Submitted. CKNW radio talk show host Bill Good is confirmed as the emcee and final keynote speaker at the upcoming Fraser Valley Economic Summit on September 9th, announced Mayor Bruce Banman.
“The City of Abbotsford is thrilled that Mr. Good is participating in this event, both as emcee
and as our final keynote speaker,” said Mayor Bruce Banman. “His presence will bring
electricity to the event that all the delegates will get to experience since he is present
throughout the entire day”.
Bill Good is one of British Columbia’s best known and respected broadcasters. He has been
an anchor for CBC’s evening news for ten years, Canada Tonight and the CTV Evening
news, and is the host of CKNW radio’s the Bill Good Show which airs every weekday
morning.
“Mr. Good’s keynote presentation on the Future of Media in Business will be extremely
interesting and valuable for all participants at the summit, especially those who manage a
business.”
The Summit features two networking sessions during breakfast and lunch where delegates
are free to move around the business showcase which will profile 25 booths from companies
all over the Valley. The event will also feature three breakout sessions with featured
speakers on topics all related to business in the Fraser Valley.
Good’s topic for his keynote presentation is The Future of Media in Business. Additional
keynote speakers include Minister of International Trade, Ed Fast; Motivational Speaker,
Alvin Law; Kinder Morgan CEO, Ian Anderson; UFV President & Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mark
Evered; and REIN Director of Research, Melanie Reuter.
