Brennan Sinclair brings acoustic folk and pop to the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert Series stage
Submitted. On November 1 from 7:30PM to 9:30PM, the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert Series is proud to present Brennan Sinclair at Wired Monk McCallum (1975 McCallum Rd) in Abbotsford.
Over the last decade, music has become an increasingly important part of Brennan’s life. Since picking up the guitar in 2002, he has played various events across the Fraser Valley. In his last years of high school, he started writing songs and performing them at coffee shops. It was also in these years that he began playing for larger audiences at Abbotsford Idol in 2007 and the PNE Talent Search Competition shortly after. This continued on a casual basis until meeting a friendly drummer in one of his classes at UFV and started up the band ‘GoodThief’. Brennan played guitar and sang lead vocals with GoodThief for two years and had the privilege of writing several songs with them during that time. As schedules got hectic and schoolwork got heavier, the band stopped playing in 2009 and music took a backseat.
Since then, Brennan has continued to write and perform whenever the opportunity has arisen. He’s played at weddings, birthdays, special events, and has headlined his own shows while growing in his music and honing his style. Now that he has completed his degree, he is excited for the next chapter. He looks forward to sharing life’s struggles, joys, questions and challenges with an audience again. Brennan sees each performance as an opportunity for conversation and relationship, and his intimate acoustic stylings create an environment perfect for just that.
