Submitted. Local entrepreneur Jason Clarke believes that a 2013 move to larger retail space in a highly visible, high traffic area of Abbotsford is going to enhance his business even more than the steady growth it has achieved since he acquired it in 2008.
“In moving our store to 2525 McCallum Rd. (across from Jubilee Park), we are more than doubling our retail space to 3600 square feet and we are right next to major transportation arteries,” says Clarke. “In the new store, our showroom will be larger than the total floor space of our old location on Ware Street.”
Clarke, whose Abbotsford store captured MEDIchair’s prestigious Franchise of the Year honours in 2009 has structured the new store for optimal growth. “In addition to a larger showroom and increased on-the-floor stock, we have enhanced our in-house service department, added a fitting room for local healthcare professionals and hired a certified compression stocking specialist. Overall, we have created a one-stop-shopping experience where customers can experience first-hand a full range of HME products with the assistance of knowledgeable and qualified home medical equipment specialists.”
Clarke added that renovations are moving along smoothly and the transition to the new store should begin in late January 2013.
