From Win Wachsmann. The Abbotsford Cardinals, who are, for the first time in their history in the final four of British Columbia Premier Baseball League (BCPBL) Championships, beat the Vanvouver Cannons 2-1 Friday night.
Tonight’s Results:
Game #1 – Eagles 6 Pirates 2
Brandon Feldman hit a solo homerun to lead off a 4 run 3rd inning for the Eagles. WP Kurt Horne threw a complete game striking out 6 and allowing 5 hits. Gobind Sall went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI. For the Pirates, Shawn Arabsky went 2 for 2 and scored both runs. Geary and Olsen hit doubles.
Game #2 – Cannons 1 Cardinals 2
Emilio Foden threw 7 strong inning for the Cardinals and Daniel Koo picked up the win with two scoreless innings. For the Cannons, Josh Gaudette went 4 for 4 and Sam Mitchell hit a triple.
