Carly Rae Hacker Gets Four Months House Arrest

CBC News is reporting that the Abbotsford man who hacked the online accounts of Mission’s Carly rae Jepsen received a four-month conditional sentence.

Christopher Long, 25, pleaded guilty to mischief to data and possession of stolen property in May after admitting to accessing and taking sensitive information belonging to Jepsen.

The conditional sentence means Long will serve his four months as house arrest, but he will be allowed to go to work and school, as long as he does not violate the conditons of the sentence.
