Just this year, 2-D Visual Arts Arty Award Nominee Cristal Sawatzky opened a fine art photography studio and art gallery in Historic Downtown Abbotsford where she hopes to support emerging and practised artists and provide a venue to platform musicians, poets, and other artists.

We are proud to provide the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique as a resource for local artists to showcase their art.
In addition to the Kariton Gallery, the Abbotsford Arts Council produces a number of successful events to showcase local artists such as the Envision Coffee House Concert Series & Concert in the Park Series, Arty Awards, Arts & Heritage Unity Festival, and the Abbotsford Christmas Craft Fair. We also offer a wonderful education speaker series called “Art of Marketing”.
