Discovery Channel star Jamie Davis headlines annual Make It Safe 2015 conference.
Chilliwack, British Columbia – October 7, 2015 – FIOSA-MIOSA Safety Alliance of BC, the Health and Safety Association for Food Processors and Manufacturers in British Columbia, is hosting their annual Make It Safe conference on October 27-28 at the Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre.
Make It Safe is a 2-day educational and networking opportunity for Health and Safety professionals featuring four keynote speakers, 12 breakout sessions covering a variety of Health and Safety topics. Make It Safe also features a tradeshow of exhibitors representing a broad range of companies related to Occupational Health and Safety.
Keynote speakers for Make It Safe include Jamie Davis, the star of Discovery Channel’s hit show “Highway Thru Hell”. Additionally, delegates will hear from workplace accident survivor Spencer Beach, University of Lethbridge Professor Dr. Kelly Williams-Whitt and Threads of Life Executive Director Shirley Hickman.
Make It Safe delegates have their choice of morning and afternoon breakout sessions featuring topics such as Desktop Computer Ergonomics Assessments, Confined Spaces, Emergency Preparedness, Claims Management and Proactive Return To Work strategies.
