Submitted. The Abbotsford Heat announced today their support for the Paskall family during the today’s game against the Hamilton Bulldogs. Julie Paskall, a hockey mom from Surrey, was slain outside the Newton Recreation Centre on December 29th, 2013 while waiting to pick up her son from hockey. The Heat will be donating a portion of all tickets sold to for the January 31st game through the PASKALL code to the Paskall Family Trust. As the game is a $3 $2 $1 Brew Dog and Pop night, all donations from the $3 beer wristbands will also go to the Paskall Family Trust.
Thanks to game sponsor Coast Capital Savings, the Paskall son’s hockey team from Surrey will be hosted as special guests for the game, with a chance to meet NHL Legend Frank Mahovlich and they will be participating in the ceremonial puck drop.
Anybody wishing to support the Paskall Family Trust can purchase tickets to the game at ticketmaster.com using the offer code PASKALL, call 1-877-452-HEAT to purchase tickets using the offer code PASKALL, or donate directly to the Paskall Family Trust at any Vancity Credit Union branch.
