The Abbotsford Heat announced today a preseason game against the Utica Comets (AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks). The game will be held Sunday, September 22nd at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC), with puck drop at 7pm. Proceeds from the 50/50 and Chuck a Puck programs for this preseason game will be donated to Canuck Place Abbotsford. The Heat also announced that Utica will play six regular season games in Abbotsford this year, compared to the four games the Chicago Wolves (former AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, current AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues) played at the AESC in 2012-13.
