Submitted. This Sunday the Virtue Foundation will be hosting its annual A Day at the Ranch event that features a wide variety of live entertainment for children-in-need, including special celebrity guests, acrobats, live stunt shows, wrestling, a polar bear and a horse riding program.
The aim is to create a memorable day of enchantment for disadvantaged children and their families.
“I want to put a smile on the faces of kids who wouldn’t normally get a behind the scenes look at the movie industry” said Virtue Foundation founder, Danny Virtue.
“It’s great to partner with the Virtue Foundation and help enrich the lives of children and their families right here in our own community,” said Abbotsford-Mission MLA Simon Gibson. ”This is going to benefit a lot of kids in Abbotsford and Mission and I am proud to be a part of this very special day.”
Participating organizations include the Zajac Ranch for Children, Surrey Memorial Hospital, Kids Help Phone, Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers and Sisters, the Zawadi Mentorship and others.
This is a free event for all invited attendees.
Established by Danny Virtue in 2002, the Virtue Foundation is a not for profit organization whose primary objective is to raise awareness for children who are physically, mentally or financially challenged. The Foundation is involved in charities, community services and fundraisers throughout the year. For more information click here.
