MadFlower At The Kariton Saturday

Madflower pumps up the volume of the Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series with blues, folk and rock and roll

Submitted. On August 9 from 6PM to 8PM, the Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series is proud to present Madflower at the Kariton Art Gallery stage in Mill Lake Park (2387 Ware Street) in Abbotsford.

For over 10 years, Madflower has been spinning out their own eclectic mix of Indie rock n’ roll and a variety of covers. Deeply rooted in 60’s and 70’s rock n’ roll, the band weaves its own magical harmony of folk, blues, and rock that will have you tapping your toes and dancing along. Formed at the Millennium by Willis Taylor and Steve Walsh, who played together with the rock band, Windowtribe, Madflower has been a staple at coffee houses and clubs all over the Abbotsford and the Lower Mainland. Come and enjoy a truly dynamic evening of music and meaning.

In addition, this is the fifth performance where concert goers are invited to take part in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program.  “It’s so great to see two organizations come together to help their local community”, said Shana Temple, branch manager at Envision Financial’s High Street location. “We at Envision Financial are proud to partner with the Abbotsford Arts Council to tackle the issue of hunger in Abbotsford during the concert series. The Full Cupboard team will be at Mill Lake Park on August 9. Your cash or non-perishable food donations will support families in need in Abbotsford through our local food bank.”
