Outstanding Artist in the Performing Arts – Dance Arty Award Nominee Mary Boonstra donates her time and talents to teach business members in Abbotsford ‘how to move’ by choreographing the “Business in Black” dance routine performed each year at the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards and the Abbotsford Hospice Gala.
She is also a crime fighter as a police constable with the Abbotsford Police Department. Way to go, Mary!

We are proud to provide the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique as a resource for local artists to showcase their art.
In addition to the Kariton Gallery, the Abbotsford Arts Council produces a number of successful events to showcase local artists such as the Envision Coffee House Concert Series & Concert in the Park Series, Arty Awards, Arts & Heritage Unity Festival, and the Abbotsford Christmas Craft Fair. We also offer a wonderful education speaker series called “Art of Marketing”.
