Submitted. In October, 2013 the Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department began an investigation into the suspected possession and distribution of images of child sexual abuse. On July 24, 2014 a search warrant was executed at a residence in central Abbotsford and several items including computers, hard drives and storage devices were seized. Yesterday, 35 year old Lukas Michael Litten was arrested and charged with Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography.
Litten has been released under the following court ordered conditions:
- Not to communicate with, contact or be alone in the presence of anyone under 18 years of age
- Not to attend public park, school ground, daycare center, swimming pool, skating rink, playground, community center or recreation center where persons under the age of 18 are present or would reasonably be expected to be present
- Not to use or possess a device capable of connecting to the internet nor maintain, keep or pay any Internet Service Provider
- Not to be in possession of pornography of any kind
- Not to have contact with any person known to be involved with the sexual exploitation of children or in trading or possessing child sexual exploitation materials
