Convergent Entertainment is calling on residents in the Vancouver and the Victoria/Nanaimo areas (British Columbia) to nominate someone special in their lives for the second season of Operation: Vacation, a dream-fulfilling travel series that, with the help of friends and family, surprises selfless people with the trip of a lifetime.
To be eligible for the show, there are only two requirements: nominees must be Canadian citizens and the nominators must be willing to keep the show a total secret until the day of the big surprise.
Beginning this week, interested individuals can send an email (no more than 250 words) to us at casting@convergententertainment.tv, telling us a little bit about themselves, who they want to nominate, and why this person deserves a dream vacation. Applicants should also include a photo or two of themselves and the person they are nominating.
“Operation: Vacation is more about the journey than the destination, so we want to hear their stories, the struggles and successes that make these people so deserving of a dream vacation,” said Nicky Forsman, Series Director, Operation: Vacation. “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to give the gift of travel to someone you love, tell their story, and show them how much they’re truly appreciated.”
Operation: Vacation, hosted by charismatic travel experts, Claire Newell and Karl Schmid, is currently airing in the US and is scheduled to premiere in Canada this January on Travel + Escape.
