Would the city give so much attention and taxpayer $$ to any other
park in the city being used by the homeless?
I doubt it!
Clearly, the city’s peioirty is to appease a select group of developers/investors/business people in Old Downtown,
people, who have moved from Clearbrook and now trying to re-establish
their own identity in the east part of the city, after buying land at a cheap price in past years.
Development and investment in our community is important but it can be done with respect and without negative impact on others, esp. the marginalized.
