The Pilots face off against the Ridge Meadows Flames on Friday, November 1, at 7:30 pm at the MSA Arena in Abbotsford.
The Pilots now stand atop the Harold Brittain Division of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) with a narrow one point lead over the Aldergrove Kodiaks.
The Pilots have a W/L record of 10/3 for 21 points while the Kodiaks, in second place, have a W/L record of 10/4 and 20 points.
Ridge Meadows is in third in the division with only 13 points so far this season and a W/L/ record of 5/7. Both the Mission City Outlaws and the Port Moody Panthers are quite aways behind in 4th and 5th position respectively.
The Kodiaks play the Richmond Sockeyes Wednesday and the Pilots don’t play until the two meet on Friday so, depending on the results of Wednesday’s game, the two could be tied for 1st going into the game.
