My mommy passed away suddenly and sadly I am all alone now. I am in the process of moving from Lillooet to Salt Spring Island. I need a new family to take care of me and love me. Will you be my new family?

I am a beautiful ten year old neutered long- haired tabby cat. I had my shots when I was a kitten. My last vet check was in 2011. I am healthy and active despite my age. I love to be indoors and outdoors. I am used to a litterbox. I am definitely a people cat who likes my chair at night or watching TV on a lap.
I like to chase mice and birds. I am a really good mouser, but definitely NOT a barn cat! I am very playful and love to be around people. I have lived well with both male and female cats, but do not like dogs. I love being brushed and playing with catnip toys. I have been shaved during hot summers. If you let me, I will snuggle on the foot of your bed. I will also stay in my own bed if you want me to. Please share my story so I will not be alone any more.
