It’s also been said that coffee is the new wine and there is definitely an intersection of coffee lovers and wine lovers. Many of us love both and some of us can get into long conversation discussing the varietals, best growing regions and the characteristics of our favourite wine or coffee. Caffe Umbria is a coffee roaster based in Seattle but the family’s roots go back to the 1940’s, when Ornello Bizzarri built his roastery in Perugia, Italy. Third generation in a family of roasters, Roaster Emanuele Bizzarri has always had coffee in his blood – from his grandfather Ornello to his father Umberto. Equipped with a state-of-the-art roaster and a great passion for blending, Caffe Umbria captures the true essence of Italian-style coffee.
