School District #34 will be holding the District Authority Awards (District Scholarships) Day which will include student displays and performances. At least 160 secondary students will be involved.
The public is not invited but members of the media will be on hand to cover the evnt on Wednesday, April 22, from 9am-5pm.
The displays will be up at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School and the Abbotsford Arts Centre (Theatre and Addition)
Project displays, presentations and performance adjudications will take place throughout the day. Static project displays will be available for public viewing from approximately 9 am to 5pm. Performing Arts presentations in dance, drama and music will be scheduled throughout the day. A map of displays will be provided upon entry. Student guides will be available to assist visitors to project display and presentation locations.
Entry to the school for displays is via the east side (Heritage room) entrance. Visitors are asked to check in at the registration table upon entering.
