Submitted. At 23:03 on August 16 2014, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service responded to a report of a Structure fire on King Road. On arrival, fire crews discovered that there was heavy smoke and fire coming from the front and rear areas of the building. The fire was quickly brought under control and was confined to the main floor area.
Abbotsford Police Department and BC Ambulance services were on scene to add support the operation.
The building is slated for demolition and has been closed since 2012. AFRS and APD are investigating the cause of the fire.
