Global BC is reporting an early morning accident in Abbotsford which has resulted in an 18-year-old being airlifted to hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
[excerpt] A teenager in Abbotsford has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car Tuesday morning.Just after 7:15 a.m. an Abbotsford Police dog handler came across an accident at the intersection of Maclure and Old Yale Roads.
“Upon arrival he found an 18-year-old male suffering from severe injuries as a result of being impacted by a smaller black vehicle,” said Const. Paul Walker with the Abbotsford Police.
The woman driving the car remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
