While the national unemployment rate was 7.0 cent in January seasonally adjusted, three-month moving average unemployment rates from Statistics Canada reveal Abbotsford still has the highest unemployment rate in Western Canada.
The unemployment rate in Abbotsford dropped from 8.0 in December to 7.9 in January.
