While Fraser Valley skiiers have been forced to wait by a series of torrential rainstorms and unseasonably warm weather, the temperature seems headed in the right direction and it may well be that Manning Park is the first of the area’s ski resorts to offer skiiing this winter.
Manning’s downhill ski area remains closed until Friday but the mountain currently has some snow.

Alpine Ski Area
Manning Park Resort’s ski area is located in the Gibson Pass Valley, approximately 15 kms south of the resort. Gibson Pass road is maintained by BC Highways but is second priority to Hwy #3, therefore, conditions are variable and snow tires and chains are strongly recommended.
Great for skiing – nordic, alpine, cross-country – , snowboarding, tobagganing or snowshoeing.
