From Yale Secondary. The Yale Hockey Academy U16 Team went into the final game against the North Island Silvertips and pulled off a profound victory defeating the BCMML team 8-1.
Kohen Olischefski opened the scoring for Yale with a laser wrist shot which was followed by a powerplay goal by Carter Shannon. Yale was up 2-0 at the end of the first period before filling the net 6 more times.
Team captain and Chilliwack Chiefs (BCHL) prospect Kohen Olischefksi, was tournament MVP. Yale’s record in the Major Midget division of the tournament was as follows:
