The Abbotsford Police Department has a long history of bad publicity over its relationship with the City’s homeless citizens.
The latest attempt by the City of Abbotsford to ask a judge for permission to force the homeless members of the Abbotsford Drug War Survivors (DWS)out of Jubilee Park and all homeless people out of all public parks in Abbotsford lest they face up to two years in jail has only served to heighten the fears of all homeless peopl in Abbotsford.
The tent city which has served as home for the DWS for two months has moved out of the park, as requested, into a walled wooden fortress in the parking lot next door and back into the park to face an eviction notice on Tuesday.
