The City of Abbotsford invites you to attend two moderated public forums about drug addiction and harm reduction. The forums will explore approaches to addressing drug use and addiction issues in Abbotsford. The first forum will have a panel of local agency representatives and the second forum will have a panel of Fraser Health Authority representatives.
The City is holding the forums to facilitate discussions and seek input from the public about drug addiction issues and harm reduction. Comments received from the public will be summarized and included in a staff report to Council about drug addiction and harm reduction services in Abbotsford.
We encourage you to attend both forums and provide your comments. However, if you are not able to attend one or both forums, presentation material will be available below following the forums, and there will also be an online comment form available January 22.
The forums will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 and Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 7:00pm, in the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC (enter off Trethewey Street, parking is available west of the Reach Gallery Museum).
