Bindy Dulay’s art features acrylic-on-canvas abstract creations. As with all abstract art, her particular style brings out both her own emotions and those viewing her work.

Her colours all belong together and her pieces run the gamut from shouting with a stark, strong voice to a more calming and musical voice in others.

Once her choice of colours has brought you into the work, the intricacies of each painting begin to reveal themselves and one is taken on a voyage of sorts. The experience is very similar to that of listening to good music alone and undistracted.

Bindy’s art speaks to an inner place.

Bindy, was born in the town of Leamington Spa, in the United Kingdom best known for its water’s healing qualities. She was raised in the city of Richmond, BC.

Her passion for art sprouted during her elementary years in school. In spite of her zeal for expression through painting, Bindy followed a traditional life. She dedicated herself to her family and children and, 20 years later Bindy she herself into the soul-nourishing, abstract artist she is today.

Bindy takes her major influence from the traditions of India and its deep rooted spiritual consciousness embedded in the arts. As an abstract artist she describes herself as being, “Free to allow the movement of spirit.”

She says that abstract art moves beyond the physical and awakens one to eternal truths and one’s own consciousness. With insight and a rooted spirit one can feel the energy and vibrations that have gone into a piece and it’s outcome as one‘s own experience.

Her intuition originates within her used name, Bindy, which signifies the 6th chakra, the seat of ‘concealed wisdom.’ This chakra is the exit point of energy and, as Bindy says, “It is through the meditation of art, my expression of energy is revealed on the canvas.”

Conscious that her given name, Riwinder, which translates to ‘Angel of the Sun’s rays’, shows throughout many of her pieces, she is inspired to uplift human spirit through the effortless vibrational flow of harmonious colors.

Bindy2Bindy believes art contributes to one’s environment, which in turn influences consciousness and a connectedness that impacts one’s well-being. Through her art, you will continuously interact with the sun’s rays and feel the warmth, joy, and happiness, all emitting these energies into one’s own environment.

Motivated to speak the language of the soul, Bindy embraces the birthright given us all … our creativity … and quotes Marianne Williamson.

“Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We are born to manifest the glory that is within us.

It is not in some of us; it is in everyone. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we liberate from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Bindy seeks to find the creative being in all and believes in the African proverb: “If you can talk, you can sing, if you can walk, you can dance.” It is creativity that acts as the umbilical cord to the internal spirit. It is from this place one is in sync with what quantum physics proves mathematically and all are gifted with the experience of peace, love and joy.
