BC Coroners Service confirms identity of motorcyclist

VANCOUVER – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident in Langley on Aug. 12, 2015.

He is Douglas Dundas, aged 41, of Abbotsford.

Mr. Dundas was operating his motorcycle on 88th Ave. in Langley at about 4:50 p.m. on Aug. 12 when, in the 26000-block, it was in a collision with a farm truck that had been pulling out of a driveway. Mr. Dundas was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this incident. The family of Mr. Dundas has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
