On June 7 from 7:30PM to 9:30PM, the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert Series is proud to present Bucks and Bullsnake at the Clayburn Gourmet Gallery (#320 – 3033 Immel Street) in Abbotsford.
Bucks and Bullsnake deliver great covers along with original tunes played with a throw back style similar to that of soul, gospel, and rhythm n’ blues. Each member has come from a different path, bringing with them the skills and mastery of their respective instrument. The band comes together with their love and appreciation for playing music, which can be easily seen every time they perform.
“The musical style is reminiscent of Jack Johnson with its positive uplifting vibe and laid back attitude” stated Cross Rhythms, when reviewing the music of Aaron Buchholz (“Bucks”). Now joined by “Bullsnake,” consisting of Peter Davyduck (bass), Adrian Metcalf (lead guitar) and Sam Heard (drums), performance and sound have been taken to a whole new level.
Bucks and Bullsnake only has one goal when performing: to enjoy the music. Whether audience members are sitting back and enjoying the tunes or standing up and dancing along, it all revolves around the love of music and sharing that love with the audience.
This performance also marks the second opportunity for concert goers to participate in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program by bringing non-perishable food or cash donations to benefit the Abbotsford Food Bank. In Abbotsford, over $6,200 and 2375 lbs of food has been raised for the Abbotsford Food Bank through The Full Cupboard and partners such as the Abbotsford Arts Council and Boston Pizza.
“Through our community program, The Full Cupboard, Envision Financial is helping to reduce hunger in our community. Join our team on June 7 at Clayburn Gourmet Gallery and bring along a non-perishable food or cash donation. All proceeds will stay in Abbotsford, supporting our local food bank.”
