The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Tailgate Party will be on Thursday, August 29th as part of UFV Student Life’s day long welcome to all the new students, at orientation, on the Abbotsford campus. The Cascades will welcome the new UFV students with a BBQ at 4:30pm, a great chance to meet the Cascade student-athletes and coaches and win great prizes from The Honda Way, Panago Pizza, Abbotsford Heat hockey club, Travel Cuts, Pita Pit and many other Cascades sponsors.
The BBQ Tailgate Party will be located in Parking Lot 10 between the UFV Bookstore/Baker House (Residence), Student Life and the Envision Athletic Centre. The Heat will set up their street hockey nets and give you an opportunity to play hockey against Hawkey their mascot and the Cascades Sasq ‘ets.
The event is free to all UFV students (returning and first year). It is a great opportunity to end a great orientation day by meeting new class mates and make new friends.
