Submitted. On July 20th from 6-8 PM, the Envision Concert in the Park Series is proud to present Courteney Rodda & the Other guys performing at Mill Lake Park (Kariton Art Gallery Stage, 2387 Ware Street) in Abbotsford.
They are Courteney Rodda and the Other Guys, a jazz project based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia, consisting of vocalist Courteney Rodda, guitarist Rob Herrett, drummer Dave Rodda and Brent Friesen on bass. The band aims to recreate an authentic stripped down jazz sound reminiscent of the masters from the 40′s through to the 60′s. Their tracks are recorded live in one take with no fancy bells or whistles to keep it as faithful to the originals as possible.
