Submitted. This morning at 3:00 am, the Abbotsford Police Department received a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Beaver Street. APD Patrol Officers and Emergency Response Team members converged on a residence believed to be associated to the shooting and are currently attempting to make contact with the occupants of that home.
At this time, one male has been taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries as a result of the shooting.
The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department has now assumed responsibility for the investigation.

UPDATE: 07/19/14 18:55 The Residence was secured by police at 5:30pm, no further occupants were located in the home. The investigation is continuing and is being handled by the APD major crime unit .
