Stó:lō Nation welcomes everyone to the 3rd Annual Gathering on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from noon until 3:00pm on the Coqualeetza grounds, located at 7201 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, B.C. The Annual Gathering is meant for Stó:lō Nation and its’ members and communities to share and celebrate achievements and provide an opportunity to showcase programs and services.
The Annual Gathering will have community performances and presentations from local Stó:lō families and communities, include traditional storytelling, drumming and singing; showcasing education achievements and First Nations arts and crafts. Stó:lō Nation will be hosting a chilli and bannock contest, as well as a tour of the Coqualeetza grounds, a Slahal demonstration, and opportunities to learn Stó:lō crafts, a tradeshow display and information booths, and more.
Everyone is welcome to this event to learn and celebrate Stó:lō culture, communities, and achievements.
