Fiona Famulak New President, CEO Of VRCA

Submitted. The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) Board of Directors is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Fiona Famulak as its new President and CEO, effective September 2013.
 
VRCA Chair, Mr. Rick Wagner said, “After a comprehensive nation-wide search, the VRCA Board of Directors is pleased to welcome a new leader who will guide the construction industry association forward and ensure the industry and its members across the Lower Mainland and  Fraser Valley grow and thrive.”
 
Ms. Famulak brings a wealth of experience to VRCA having previously held several senior executive positions with the Whistler Chamber of Commerce, Indigo Initiatives, Kyber Developments and KPMG Deloitte in Asia.
 
Fiona’s many strengths include organizational leadership, government relations, member relations, and financial accountability. She brings to VRCA a track record of driving change that supports growth and innovation.

I look forward to working closely with the Board and the association’s members and stakeholders to deliver effective and positive change for the industry and the Lower Mainland.”
 
The VRCA represents over 700 members and is the largest and most influential construction association in British Columbia. The membership is inclusive of businesses of all sizes, ranging from small entrepreneurial companies to large multinationals, and includes general contractors, specialty trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and all other professionals that deliver services to the multibillion dollar construction industry.
